Designed in London, its robust all-metal chassis is not just aesthetically pleasing but also engineered to minimize vibration. Despite measuring just 215mm in width, it offers the same build quality and sonic performance expected from Cambridge Audio's larger components, making it the ideal foundation for a modern, space-saving hi-fi system.

POWER APLENTY

Utilizing Hypex NCORE Class D technology, the MXW70 offers a listening experience that is both powerful and refined. In stereo mode, it provides a solid 70W per channel, more than enough to drive most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. For those seeking the ultimate upgrade path, the amplifier can be bridged to function as a 250W monoblock. This flexibility allows you to start with a single stereo amp and later add a second MXW70 for a dual-mono configuration that delivers breathtaking dynamics and headroom.

WIRED FOR EXCELLENCE

To ensure the purest possible signal path, the MXW70 is equipped with both standard RCA and balanced XLR inputs. Using the XLR connection with a compatible source, such as the DacMagic 200M, eliminates electrical interference and ground loops, resulting in a cleaner, more detailed sound. The rear panel also features high-quality binding posts for secure speaker connections and a 12V trigger loop, allowing the amp to power up automatically when you switch on your streamer or DAC.

The Listening Room Difference

We’re a third-generation family business with a brick-and-mortar showroom in Chestertown, Maryland, and a reputation built on trust, not hype.
