Hana MH Cartridge Exchange

Hana cartridges aren't cheap, and sh*t happens. A worn stylus, a bent cantilever, a snapped one, the cat got curious. We get it. Trade in your worn or damaged Hana and we'll send you a brand-new MH for less: $361 off retail when you send in the same model, $241 off when you send in any other Hana. You send the old cartridge back, we send a new one out. It's a hell of a deal.

How it works

1. Buy this trade-in. Pick Like for Like or Trade Up, then your packaging option, above.
2. Mail your old Hana to our Chestertown showroom (or drop it off in person).
3. In around a week your brand-new Hana MH will ship to you.

Like for Like or Trade Up

Like for Like, 30% off. Send in a Hana MH and your new MH is $361 off retail.

Trade Up, 20% off. Send in any other Hana model, like an SL MK II or an EH, and your new MH is $241 off retail. Choose Trade Up in the options above. Worn or damaged is fine here too.

Trading in a cartridge from another brand? Contact Mike and he'll work it out with you.

Two ways to handle the packaging

I'll provide my own packaging. Package the cartridge well, use the original box if you still have it, then ship it to our Chestertown showroom.

Listening Room Packaging at $19.95. We'll ship you a box with a prepaid return label inside. Open it, follow the instructions for safely packaging your cartridge, then drop the box at any USPS location.

What qualifies as a cartridge trade-in

Any worn or damaged Hana cartridge. Normal wear, bent cantilever, snapped stylus, missing stylus guard, cosmetic damage. All fine. Like for Like means the same model, an MH for an MH. Any other Hana model qualifies for Trade Up. For a cartridge from another brand, contact Mike and he'll work out a deal with you.

Why this program exists

Hana cartridges live a hard life. Sooner or later, something happens. This trade-in is a loyalty program for the people already running Hana cartridges. Send the old one back, get a brand-new MH at 30% off retail with the same model, or 20% off with any other Hana. Full warranty, same as buying new.

See our Cartridge Trade-In Terms and Shipping Policy for full details.
