Why It Matters

Your cartridge is the first point of contact between your turntable and your records. With the CUSIS E, you get a refined moving coil design that highlights musical nuances without sacrificing warmth. From the high-grade materials to the careful coil winding, every element contributes to a natural, dynamic presentation of your favorite albums.

Performance

At 2.0 grams of tracking force, the CUSIS E glides through each record groove, ensuring crisp channel separation (23dB) and a wide frequency range (20 Hz to 25 kHz). Its elliptical stylus maintains accurate tracking across the disc, revealing subtle details and a coherent, lifelike soundstage. Whether you’re into jazz improvisations or rock anthems, this cartridge faithfully captures the artist’s intent.

Technology

Michell’s moving coil expertise is embodied in the CUSIS E’s samarium-cobalt magnet and specially engineered damper. This design, combined with an aluminum cantilever and precision-wound coils, reduces unwanted resonance and preserves signal integrity. The result is an engaging, distortion-free listening experience that invites you deeper into the music.

Why Brand Synergy Matters Here

Brand synergy is a real thing with cartridges. This one is built with a suspension design and shielding intended for a specific turntable rather than as a universal fit, and matching the two tends to give better outcomes than mixing brands. It is why a Michell cartridge is the natural choice on a Michell deck.
