Mike's $2750 HiFi System

This $2750 system delivers refined British sound in an elegant, uncomplicated package. Built around the Ruark R610 Music Console and Sabre-R bookshelf speakers, it offers exceptional performance for listeners who want great sound without a rack full of components.

Core System Components

These components form the heart of the system and are included by default with bundle savings. The R610 and Sabre-R were designed by the same team to work together seamlessly.

• Ruark Audio R610 Music Console
• Ruark Audio Sabre-R Bookshelf Speakers

System Overview

The Ruark R610 is a complete music system in a single, beautifully crafted cabinet. It handles streaming, Bluetooth, FM radio, and vinyl playback (with its built-in phono stage) through a powerful Class A-B amplifier. The design philosophy is simple: one elegant component that does everything well.

Paired with the Sabre-R speakers, the system gains the scale and presence needed to fill a living room. The Sabre-R delivers Ruark's signature warmth and musicality with surprising bass extension for its size. Together, these components create a cohesive sound that punches well above its price point.

The R610 Music Console

The R610 serves as the command center for your entire music library:

• High-resolution streaming via Wi-Fi and Ethernet
• Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and AirPlay 2 built-in
• Bluetooth with aptX HD for wireless convenience
• Built-in phono stage for direct turntable connection
• Optical and analog inputs for additional sources
• Class A-B amplification with refined, musical character

Sabre-R Bookshelf Speakers

The Sabre-R is a high-performance bookshelf speaker that captures everything Ruark has learned about speaker design:

• Custom 20mm silk dome tweeter for smooth, detailed highs
• 130mm mid-bass driver with exceptional control
• Rear port design optimized for placement flexibility
• Hand-finished cabinets in your choice of Charcoal Wood or White

Optional: Rega Planar 1 Turntable

For vinyl enthusiasts, the Rega Planar 1 is an excellent entry point. Connect it directly to the R610's built-in phono stage and start spinning records immediately. No additional equipment required.

• Rega's acclaimed RB110 tonearm
• Carbon MM cartridge pre-installed
• Plug and play with the R610's phono input

Optional: Ruark RS1 Subwoofer

The Sabre-R speakers have impressive bass for their size, but the Ruark RS1 subwoofer adds foundation and weight for those who want more low-end impact. Designed specifically to complement Ruark systems, the RS1 integrates naturally without overwhelming the speakers' character.

• 165mm (6.5") long-throw driver
• Wireless connectivity option available
• Compact footprint fits easily in any room
