Perlisten R7i-C In-Wall Center Channel Speaker

The Perlisten R7i-C is the invisible heart of your home cinema, engineered to deliver the powerful and articulate performance of the R-Series from a source that is completely hidden from view. Designed as the perfect timbre-matched center channel for the R7i-LR, the R7i-C provides a seamless, cohesive front soundstage with flawless vocal clarity. This is a true, reference-level loudspeaker that vanishes into your wall, preserving the clean aesthetic of your room without sacrificing an ounce of sonic performance. With four 165mm HPF woofers behind a controlled-dispersion array, it holds 116dB peaks at under 3% distortion, so it anchors a large cinema without strain.

Key Features

• 116dB Peak Output: Holds 116.0dB peaks at one meter with second and third harmonic distortion under 3%, measured across 100Hz to 20kHz, so reference-level scenes stay clean.
• Proprietary DPC-Array: The heart of the R7i-C is a patent-pending DPC-Array with three 26mm silk domes, meticulously engineered for exceptional accuracy, smooth response, and controlled dispersion.
• HPF Woofers: Four 165mm (6.5") HPF (Hybrid Pulp Formulation) cone woofers deliver bass that is incredibly stiff, lightweight, and powerful, revealing stunning texture and nuance.
• Perfect Timbre Matching: Shares the same DPC-Array and driver technology as the R7i-LR and the entire R-Series, ensuring a seamless and tonally cohesive soundfield for a truly immersive experience.
• Architectural Integration: Requires a 4.0-inch (101.7mm) mounting depth, making it ideal for installation in standard 2x6 walls or other deep-cavity constructions.
• Horizontal or Vertical Installation: Can be mounted horizontally as a center channel or vertically as an L/R speaker, offering excellent installation flexibility.
• Paintable Grille: Includes a low-profile, perforated grille that can be painted to perfectly match your wall color, allowing the speaker to become truly invisible.

The Invisible Command Center

The R7i-C is designed for the enthusiast who refuses to compromise between aesthetics and performance. It delivers the commanding presence and crystal-clear dialogue of a high-end center channel, all while being completely concealed within your wall. This allows you to design your media room with absolute visual purity, keeping the focus entirely on the screen. Perlisten's meticulous engineering ensures that this architectural speaker doesn't just look good by disappearing; it sounds phenomenal, bringing the full weight and detail of cinematic soundtracks into your room with authority.

Clarity That Cuts Through

The exceptional intelligibility of the R7i-C is a direct result of Perlisten's DPC-Array. This unique driver configuration is a master of dispersion control, focusing the critical vocal frequencies directly towards the listener and minimizing the muddying effects of acoustic reflections. The result is dialogue that is consistently clear, focused, and locked to the on-screen action, regardless of the complexity of the soundtrack. This precision creates a wide, stable listening window, ensuring every seat in the house enjoys a premium experience.

Impact Without Strain

Dynamic range in a center channel comes down to how much output it produces before distortion climbs. The R7i-C peaks at 116.0dB at one meter while holding second and third harmonic distortion under 3%, measured from 100Hz to 20kHz. Four 165mm HPF woofers share that load in a 4-way acoustic suspension enclosure, and 90.1dB sensitivity means a 100 to 400W amplifier drives it comfortably. The practical result is that the loudest passages in a soundtrack, the ones where a lesser center channel starts to compress and harden, stay clean and articulate.

On-Wall Mounting

Planning an on-wall installation? The Perlisten S/R7i On-Wall Speaker Frame is the matching low-profile enclosure that mounts this speaker flush to the wall for a clean, finished look.
