This is not wireless for convenience; it's wireless for performance. The Airship Direct delivers a zero-compression, ultra-low latency signal that is the equal of a high-quality wired connection. It completely reimagines the receiver, eliminating all cable clutter by plugging directly into a dedicated port on the subwoofer's amplifier panel. This creates a sleek, "invisible" solution that requires no extra boxes, RCA cables, or power supplies at the subwoofer, offering effortless setup and the ultimate in placement freedom without sacrificing a single ounce of REL's legendary speed and clarity.

This system is specifically designed for the Reference No. 36, Reference No. 35, S/850, S/550, 212 Black Label, and Carbon Special Black Label models.

Key Features

Direct-Connect Wireless: The receiver plugs directly into a dedicated port on new Reference, Serie S and Black Label models (Reference No. 36, Reference No. 35, S/850, S/550, 212 Black Label, Carbon Special Black Label).

Zero-Compression Signal: Transmits a wide-bandwidth signal with zero compression, ensuring every musical nuance and cinematic impact is delivered intact.

Ultra-Low Latency: A high-speed 5.8 GHz signal provides near-zero latency, ensuring the bass is perfectly in-sync with your main speakers.

No Receiver Clutter: Eliminates the need for a separate receiver box, external power supply, or RCA interconnects at the subwoofer.

Supports Stereo Pairs & Line Arrays: A single transmitter can send the signal to multiple receivers, making it ideal for running stereo pairs or vertical line arrays.

Integration Meets Elegance

The Airship Direct reimagines the wireless receiver. It transmits its signal in the 5.8 GHz band, a frequency reserved for military and NATO use, avoiding the crowded and interference-prone 2.4 GHz band used by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This, combined with an ultra-low latency and zero-compression signal, ensures the full, wide-bandwidth audio is transmitted intact. You get all the speed, dynamics, and tonal authority you expect from a REL, with no perceptible delay or loss of detail.

One Transmitter, Endless Possibilities

The Airship Direct system is as flexible as it is powerful. The robust transmitter can send a signal to multiple receivers simultaneously, making it the perfect solution for advanced REL configurations. Whether you are running a simple stereo pair of subwoofers for a massive soundstage or building a towering vertical Line Array, the Airship Direct provides a rock-solid, high-performance connection to every unit, all from a single transmitter.

The Listening Room Difference

We’re a third-generation family business with a brick-and-mortar showroom in Chestertown, Maryland, and a reputation built on trust, not hype.
