REL Tzero MKIII Subwoofer

The REL Tzero MKIII is a miracle in miniature, a true REL subwoofer in its most compact form ever. It is engineered to bring the renowned REL sound—its speed, texture, and natural bass—to modest systems and smaller spaces where a conventional subwoofer simply will not fit. The Tzero MKIII features a new, high-performance 6.5-inch aluminum-coned driver and a powerful 100W NextGen Class D amplifier. Despite its tiny footprint, it includes the full REL connectivity suite, including the legendary High Level Input, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your main speakers. It is the perfect solution for upgrading desktop audio systems, small apartment setups, and gaming rigs, proving that reference-quality sound can come in any size.

Key Features

• Ultra-Compact, Room-Friendly Design: A tiny, sealed-box cabinet (less than 10 inches high) designed to deliver real bass in apartments, offices, and small rooms.
• New 6.5” Aluminum-Coned Driver: A fast, rugged, and long-throw 6.5-inch driver with an aluminum cone provides exceptional output and low-bass extension for its size.
• 100W NextGen Class D Amplifier: A powerful and efficient 100-watt (RMS) Class D amplifier provides the headroom and control needed for dynamic performance.
• Legendary High Level Input: Features REL's High Level Neutrik Speakon input, allowing it to receive the exact sonic signature of your main amplifier for a perfect blend.
• Dual-Purpose Connectivity: Includes separate inputs and volume controls for High Level (music) and .1/LFE (movies), allowing for ideal settings for both without re-adjusting.
• Optional Wireless Connectivity: Fully compatible with the optional REL HT-Air MKII wireless system for even greater placement flexibility.

Bass Beyond Its Size

The Tzero MKIII’s performance is centered on its all-new 6.B-inch driver. This rugged, long-throw unit features a stiff and lightweight aluminum cone, which allows it to move with incredible speed and accuracy. This design is what enables the Tzero MKIII to produce the fast, articulate, and tuneful bass that is the hallmark of a true REL. The sealed, down-firing enclosure uses the floor to pressurize the room evenly, creating a sense of scale and depth that seems impossible from such a small cabinet.

Brains and Brawn: Right-Sized Power

Powering the new driver is a 100-watt, high-current NextGen Class D amplifier. This advanced amplifier is incredibly efficient and powerful for its size, providing the dynamic headroom needed to deliver satisfying performance for both music and movies. Just as importantly, it is paired with REL’s high-quality input filters and fast 8ms delay, which are typically found in larger REL models. This ensures the subwoofer is fast enough to keep up with modern speakers, adding a foundation of bass rather than slow, boomy effects.

Full Connectivity, Simplified

Despite being REL's entry-level model, the Tzero MKIII sacrifices nothing in connectivity. It features the legendary High Level Neutrik Speakon input, which is the cornerstone of REL's integration philosophy. By connecting directly to your amplifier's speaker terminals, the Tzero MKIII receives the exact same signal as your main speakers, allowing it to seamlessly blend and create a rich, full-range soundstage.

The Perfect Dual-Purpose Solution

The Tzero MKIII is brilliantly designed for users who love both music and movies. It features separate inputs and, critically, separate volume controls for High Level (music) and .1/LFE (movies). This allows you to dial in the perfect, subtle level for two-channel listening and a separate, more bombastic level for home theater, all connected at the same time. The subwoofer automatically prioritizes the correct signal, so you never have to touch a dial or flip a switch when moving from music to movies.
