Rega IO Integrated Amplifier

The Rega Io is a compact integrated amplifier designed to bring high-fidelity performance to an accessible price point. It is a testament to Rega's commitment to quality audio, utilizing the same amplifier stage as the multi-award-winning Brio. Despite its small stature, the Io is a powerful hub for your audio system, featuring two line-level inputs, a high-quality moving magnet phono stage, and a dedicated headphone output. It is engineered with a focus on simplicity, reliability, and musicality, making it an ideal foundation for any serious hi-fi system.

• Integrated Phono Stage: Includes a high-specification moving magnet phono stage, providing an exceptional turntable-to-amplifier connection.
• Dedicated Headphone Output: A high-quality headphone output is driven directly from the power amplifier stage through relays, ensuring signal purity.
• Quality Components: Built with audiophile-grade components, including Sanken output transistors and an Alps volume potentiometer.
• Compact and Robust Design: Housed in a compact, custom-designed chassis for durability and ease of placement.
• 3-Year US Warranty: Covered for three years against defects in materials and workmanship through The Sound Organisation, Rega's US distributor.

Meticulous Power and Sound

The Io amplifier is built with a singular focus on sonic performance. Its Class A/B amplifier stage, borrowed from the higher-end Brio, delivers a clean and powerful 30 watts per channel. The attention to detail extends to the component selection, with premium Sanken output transistors and a linear power supply ensuring a robust and stable power delivery. This meticulous engineering results in a sound that is both dynamic and transparent, with a powerful, rhythmic presentation that brings music to life.

A Hub for All Your Sources

Despite its minimalist appearance, the Io is a versatile hub for your audio sources. The inclusion of a high-quality moving magnet phono stage means you can connect a turntable directly to the amplifier without the need for a separate phono pre-amp. In addition, two line-level inputs allow you to connect other sources like a CD player, DAC, or streamer. The Io’s ability to handle multiple sources makes it a flexible and convenient core for a complete hi-fi system.

Thoughtful Headphone Integration

Rega’s commitment to quality extends to every aspect of the Io’s design, including the headphone output. This dedicated output is driven from the power amplifier stage through relays. This unique design ensures that the main speaker signal path is not compromised when headphones are in use. The result is a high-quality, powerful headphone listening experience that is both detailed and engaging, making the Io a great choice for listeners who enjoy both speakers and headphones.

Compact, Reliable, and Simple

The Rega Io is designed for a no-fuss, enjoyable listening experience. Its compact dimensions and custom-designed chassis make it easy to place in any space. The simple, clean front panel and included mini remote handset ensure that it is incredibly easy to set up and use. This focus on simplicity, combined with its robust build quality and three-year US warranty, makes the Io a reliable and enduring component in your audio system.
