Design and Build
The Simply Phono preamplifier is designed with careful attention to detail, offering a refined sound that enhances your vinyl playback. The unique “ionic bias” configuration in the first gain stage reduces noise and distortion, while the passive RIAA equalization ensures accurate frequency response. The robust power supply is a key feature, providing more than 300V of stable, low-ripple power for consistent performance. Additional filtering and regulation circuits help minimize cross-talk and power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), particularly in the first gain stage, ensuring a clean and immersive listening experience.
Power Supply
The Simply Phono is a dual-chassis design: a separate external power supply connects to the main unit and is required for it to operate. Unison ships the Simply Phono with its power supply, and we offer it that way; we also sell the Simply Phono on its own if you already own the supply.
